Need your Battery Testing

Don’t worry if you are unsure whether or not you need a new battery….. Our Automotive Technicians can test your old battery. Your battery may be failing through other components on your vehicle. Although your battery may be “dead”, it may not be the problem. Changing your vehicle’s battery may not cure your vehicle’s problem. This means you could throw away a perfectly old working battery, replace it with a new battery but still have the same problem meaning you’re wasting money.

Before we fit new car/van batteries we test to make sure other components aren’t causing your battery to fail. We run a report on the status of your vehicle and then give you the report on your old battery.

Battery Support’s Certified Technicians have passed the CPD Certified GS YUASA academy training course. This course is designed specifically for vehicle maintenance technicians who specialise in battery fitting & testing.

All technicians are City & Guilds or IMI (Institute of Motoring Industry) certified vehicle repair & maintenance technicians.

All of our vehicle technicians have worked in the environment of Main Dealerships or vehicle breakdown sector.

EV Charging & Hybrid Charging

Battery Support provides a Roadside Rapid Response – charging service for your EV (Electric Vehicle) or Hybrid Vehicle (if needed) anywhere across the North East, 24hrs 7 days a week.

If you have run out of range midway through a journey, or you may find yourself at a location with no charging facilities, we can assist.

The most common reason is “traffic”. Most of our customers require our services after hitting unexpected traffic or route diversions which may not have been accounted for.

We can connect our specialist EV Charging Equipment to all EV’s which are currently available within the UK.
A typical 30-40 minute charge will on average deliver a 10-20 mile range.

This all depends on the type of EV you’re driving.

Please note, this service is not like a designated charge point you may find at a forecourt/rest area/parking facility. This service is for those EV Drivers who require emergency assistance who maybe haven’t made it to a designated charging point. Our EV Battery Support Service is aimed to get enough charge into your electric vehicle to get you home or to the nearest designated EV Charging Point, helping you to continue on with your journey.

For your peace of mind, once we’ve put enough charge in your Electric Vehicle, our battery support technician can follow you to the nearest fixed charging point to ensure you arrive safely.

Battery Support Roadside Technicians have sat various Motor Vehicle courses and are fully certified IMI (Institute of Motoring Industry) and City & Guilds Accredited Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Technicians.

As the automotive technology gets more advanced so do our technicians and equipment meaning our technicians are EV & Hybrid Aware and our technician’s carry IMI Certification on EV/Hybrid awareness.
